The Jewish community of Oslo arranges Brit Milah for baby boys on the eigth day after they are born – never before. The procedure is postponed should there be medical complications, such as too high bilirubin values.

Currently we use an experienced mohel from England.  There is always a medical doctor present, who carries the medical responsibility. The community has its own procedure for the brit mila, which adheres to Norwegian laws and statutes.
